The Second Adventures of  Flat Cactus Jack

The Second Adventure of Flat Cactus Jack, the Mystery Mound: The second children's book has the same goal as the first...to learn to love and protect the Sonoran Desert.  We have added some history to this story to help their interest grow.  Jack is taking a group of children on a hike from the First Water Trailhead to Garden Valley.  The children will meet Jack's plant friends along the way and eat lunch on the Salado Indian ruins.  They will see pot shard and grind holes.  The stories of this valley start about 1000 AD and describe another event in the 1800s.  There is even a map to follow on the hike.
